Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plant processing, facility, and support equipment.

00 PM - 1:

Wage:
$31.22/hr. plus shift differential


Required Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED


Required Qualifications &a; Experiences:


  • 18 years or older

  • 1
    years&s; manufacturing experience

  • Basic computer skills

  • Communicates work order progress to supervisor and production operators

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills

  • Ensures a safe working environment for self and others while performing assigned tasks

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively work with a variety of people and department


Preferred Qualifications &a; Experiences:


  • 1
    years' experience with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.

  • Prior industrial maintenance experience, knowledge and/or education

  • Prior food manufacturing experience

  • Forklift experience preferred or willing to be trained for certification

  • Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule

  • Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision

  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Possess mechanical aptitude. Some experience with mechanical systems, utilizing product manuals, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, and reading mechanical drawings.

  • This role may require a valid driver license to driver a company vehicle.


Physical Requirements regularly include:


  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and perform occasional bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements

  • Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment

  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods
